Sharing children's appointments for separated parents or patchwork families

I can imagine that some separated parents don't necessarily feel the need to constantly exchange information about the children's appointments or to send each other appointment photos/info about the children back and forth on Whatsapp.

With SHUBiDU you can easily enter the appointments with the respective child and make special arrangements, e.g. that you mark the child and a parent if the accompaniment of an adult (or drop off/pick up) is required.

Our organizational suggestion

  • One parent logs into SHUBiDU and invites the children and the ex-partner

  • The children's appointments can now be entered there. Notes or a photo from a school appointment slip can be attached to each appointment. This means that all information is always stored centrally and can be viewed in the right place. Fewer arrangements are needed.

  • If the parents have new partners, they could also invite them to join the family or give them their own account login. Passing on the account would make it possible for the new partners to see the family's appointments without being visible themselves. (Is that understandable?)

  • In this example, the parents must be aware that their appointments can also be viewed by everyone. Perhaps in this case the calendar is used purely for the children's appointments.

Please note:

Each person (with telephone number) can only belong to one SHUBiDU family.

What do you think?

Does this help you arrange appointments?

Please leave a comment here or let me know via Instagram so that I can better understand whether this solution is right for separated couples or whether I have forgotten an important factor.

Best regards

Sonia

PS: I developed SHUBiDU to bring more ease and fun (SHUBiDU) into the family organization, so that we parents can devote more time to the beautiful sides of everyday family life 💙.
